Dr Lara Lavadiño

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist and EMDR trained psychotherapist with extensive experience in the field of General Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

I am a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, EMDR UK & Ireland, and EMDRIA, and I am BAPAM Certified Practitioner.

I completed my studies and high specialized psychiatry training (CCT equivalent) in Spain and I hold a University of Seville postgraduate certification in both Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Systemic Psychotherapy. In the UK, I have acquired a professional certification level in Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and EMDR for children and adults.

Other work: I am Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Queen Mary’s University London (QMUL) and I collaborate with Rethink Mental Health Group as an Information panel member and Reviewer.
